The best Amazon seller community depends on the question you are asking. Amazon’s own Seller Forums are the place for anything where Amazon’s position is the answer; the AmazonFBA Discord is the fastest free room for live operational questions; the big Facebook groups (ASGTG and MySilentTeam) are strongest on suspension alerts and beginner sourcing talk; Reddit is best for candid failure stories; and paid groups such as eCommerceFuel only make sense once your business clears their revenue bar. This guide compares all five on who each suits, what it costs to get in, and how active it is, with every figure dated.
Most “best Amazon seller forums” lists stop at naming the Seller Forums. We spend more time on it than anything else here, because its structure (categories, member-only groups, read-only access for the public) decides whether it can answer your question at all.
Amazon seller communities at a glance

| Community | Best for | Entry requirement | Size / activity signal |

| ASGTG (Facebook, Telegram, WhatsApp, Slack) | Suspension and compliance alerts, seller performance news | Free | 77k+ on its Facebook group, per ASGTG’s own join page |
| MySilentTeam (Facebook) | Beginner FBA, online and retail arbitrage, wholesale basics | Free | 79,000+ members, per third-party Feedvisor (updated 2026-03-03) |
| AmazonFBA Discord | Live Q&A on FBA operations, PPC, logistics | Free; higher channels gated at $100k+ and $500k+ in sales | 33,318 members, 2,419 online |
| Reddit (r/FulfillmentByAmazon, r/AmazonSeller) | Candid experience, vendor sanity checks, early warnings | Free; strict self-promotion rules | See our Amazon seller Reddit guide |
| eCommerceFuel | Vetted peer group for established brand owners | $199 or $299 per month; revenue-qualified application | Member total not published on its FAQ |
Facebook does not show group pages to logged-out visitors, so the two Facebook figures are self-reported or third-party numbers rather than readings we took ourselves (see the Facebook section).
Amazon Seller Forums: how the official forum is actually organised
Amazon’s Seller Forums live at sellercentral.amazon.com/seller-forums and are the only community on this list run by Amazon itself. Three structural facts matter more than anything else about it.
Anyone can read, only sellers can post
According to the Seller Forums FAQ (read 2026-09-29), forum content is available read-only to both selling partners and the public, while creating discussions, replying or otherwise engaging requires an active Seller Central account. In practice that means you can research a policy question before you have even registered, which is useful if you are still deciding on a plan (our individual vs professional plan guide covers that choice).
Eleven categories, and every new thread must pick one
The public Seller Forums home page on 2026-09-29 listed eleven categories:
| Category | Typical threads |
|---|---|
| Account Setup | Registration, identity verification, tax interviews |
| Create and Manage Listings | Listing errors, variations, detail page problems |
| Fulfill Orders | FBA and FBM shipping, order handling |
| Manage Inventory | Stranded, reserved and aged inventory, restock limits |
| Product Safety and Compliance | Safety documents, category approvals, compliance requests |
| Manage Your Brand | Brand Registry and brand tools |
| Grow Your Business | Advertising, promotions, expansion |
| Manage Buyer Experience | Returns, customer messaging, feedback |
| Account Health | Performance notifications, deactivations, appeals |
| News and Announcements | Amazon-posted updates |
| Community Connections | General seller-to-seller discussion |
The category names are Amazon’s; the “typical threads” column is our summary of what each category is for. The FAQ states that a seller must choose at least one category and up to five tags to start a discussion. That is why searching by category is more reliable than keyword search here: a reserved-inventory question will almost always sit under Manage Inventory, whatever words the poster used.
Groups: the part most lists skip
Separate from categories, Seller Forums has discussion groups. The public groups page listed two on 2026-09-29:
| Group | Who it is for | Members | Discussions |
|---|---|---|---|
| New Seller Community | “The New Seller Community is for sellers who have been selling in Amazon’s store for less than 18 months.” | 549K | 5K |
| Handmade Community | Artisans approved to sell in the Handmade store | 45K | 7.7K |
The FAQ describes groups as a dedicated space for sellers with similar needs; group discussions are visible to the wider forum, but only group members can vote or post in them. So a seller past the 18-month mark can still read New Seller Community threads, but the group is built for newer accounts. The Handmade group has fewer members but more discussions than the New Seller group, which fits a smaller, more tightly focused audience. If you sell handmade goods, it is the most specific official room you will find (see our Amazon Handmade guide).
We do not hold a Seller Central account, so this section describes only what the public pages and FAQ show. We have not seen the logged-in view, and we are not including screenshots of it.
What the forums are not
The FAQ points sellers with operational or account issues to Selling Partner Support, not the forums. A forum thread will not open a case for you. Use the forums to learn how Amazon has answered similar questions and how other sellers read a policy, then take a specific issue to support. For account-health emergencies, go to our account suspension appeal guide and the notification itself before you post anything. For policy changes, the News and Announcements category is the primary feed; we track the ones that matter in Amazon seller policy updates.
Facebook groups: ASGTG and MySilentTeam
Facebook is still where the two largest free seller groups live, but it is also the hardest place to check. On 2026-09-29, both group pages returned Facebook’s login screen to a logged-out browser, with no member count or activity data visible. The figures below are therefore labelled with their source.
ASGTG (Amazon Sellers Group TG). Run by Ed Rosenberg, ASGTG is now spread across several platforms. Its join page (read 2026-09-29) links a Seller Performance Facebook group listed at 77k+ members, dozens of Telegram groups, a WhatsApp community and a Slack workspace, with no membership fee mentioned. Its public Telegram channel describes itself as used for urgent Amazon notices plus a weekly summary of the most important seller issues. The same page promotes paid services, so expect some threads to route toward them. Best for: sellers who want account-health and compliance warnings early.
MySilentTeam. Founded by Jim Cockrum, this Facebook group (facebook.com/groups/mysilentteam) is reported by Feedvisor, a third party, to have 79,000+ members (article updated 2026-03-03). Third-party roundups place its focus on beginner-to-intermediate FBA topics such as arbitrage, wholesale and private label. Best for: newer sellers who want a large, patient room.
The AmazonFBA Discord
The AmazonFBA server describes itself as the official Discord for the r/FulfillmentByAmazon subreddit, for sellers of every experience level. On 2026-09-29 its public server page showed 33,318 members and 2,419 online. With more than two thousand members online at the time we checked, it is the most real-time free option in this guide.
Its structure is tiered by sales:
- General channels are open to all members.
- General+ channels are limited to sellers with $100k+ in sales.
- Verified channels are for sellers with $500k+ in sales.
The server page also says it allows no ads, no courses for sale and no “gurus”. The server page does not describe how sales are verified for the upper tiers.
Best for: sellers who want fast answers on shipments, PPC and listing problems, and established sellers who want a room where every other member has reached their sales tier.
Reddit: useful, but read it for experience, not numbers
Reddit’s main seller subreddits are r/FulfillmentByAmazon for operations and r/AmazonSeller for general selling. We cover them in depth, with member counts, removal rules and the six claims most worth double-checking, in our Amazon seller Reddit guide, so we will not repeat that here. The short version: pseudonymity makes Reddit the best source for failure stories and vendor warnings, and one of the worst for fees and limits, which Amazon changes faster than old threads get corrected.
Paid communities: eCommerceFuel
Paid groups are a different product. You are paying for a vetted room of peers at a similar stage, not for more answers. eCommerceFuel is the best-known example, and its FAQ (read 2026-09-29) sets the terms:
| Item | eCommerceFuel terms (checked 2026-09-29) |
|---|---|
| Price | $199 per month for 7-figure business owners; $299 per month for 8-figure owners |
| Trial | First 30 days for $1 |
| Ownership | You must own at least 25% of a qualifying 7- or 8-figure business |
| Amazon-only sellers | At least $2.5M in annual revenue |
| Excluded | Vendors and service providers |
Note the Amazon-only threshold. Some comparison articles still describe the entry bar as $1M+; the FAQ sets $2.5M for businesses that sell only on Amazon. If most of your revenue comes from your own store and Amazon is one channel, the standard 7-figure rule applies instead. Best for: owners past seven figures who want peers, not beginners. For everyone else, the free rooms above cover the same operational ground.
How to choose the right Amazon seller community
Match the room to the question rather than joining everything.
| Your question | Go to first | Why |
|---|---|---|
| “What is Amazon’s actual policy on this?” | Seller Forums (search by category) | Amazon’s own space; News and Announcements is the primary feed |
| “I’m in my first year and stuck on setup” | Seller Forums New Seller Community, then MySilentTeam | Built for accounts under 18 months |
| “My shipment is stuck / PPC broke today” | AmazonFBA Discord | Real-time replies from thousands of sellers |
| “Is this supplier, prep centre or agency legit?” | Pseudonymous accounts of what went wrong | |
| “Is a policy change about to hit my account?” | ASGTG Telegram channel or Facebook group | Focused on alerts and account health |
| “I run a seven-figure brand and want peers” | eCommerceFuel | Revenue-vetted membership |
Three habits make any of these communities more useful. First, search before posting; the Seller Forums category system and Discord’s search both surface old answers fast. Second, give numbers and dates in your question, because “my listing is suppressed” gets guesses while a question with the date, the exact error text and the ASIN type gets answers. Third, treat private messages offering to fix your account, sell you a course or “boost” reviews as sales pitches; our Amazon automation legit vs scam guide lists the patterns, and if you do want paid help, Amazon’s Service Provider Network is the vetted starting point.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best Amazon seller community for beginners?
For beginners, start with Amazon’s Seller Forums New Seller Community, which is aimed at sellers with less than 18 months of selling history and had 549K members on 2026-09-29, then add the MySilentTeam Facebook group or the free AmazonFBA Discord for faster, informal answers. Before posting, it helps to understand the dashboard vocabulary; our what is Amazon Seller Central guide covers it.
Can I read Amazon Seller Forums without a seller account?
Yes. The Seller Forums FAQ (read 2026-09-29) states that forum content is readable by the public, but only sellers with an active Seller Central account can start discussions, reply or otherwise engage. Group discussions are also visible to everyone, though only group members can vote or post in them.
Is there an official Amazon seller Discord?
Amazon does not run one. The largest seller server, AmazonFBA, calls itself the official Discord of the r/FulfillmentByAmazon subreddit, which is a seller-run community. It had 33,318 members on 2026-09-29 and gates some channels at $100k+ and $500k+ in sales.
Are paid Amazon seller communities worth it?
Only if you meet their bar and want peers more than answers. eCommerceFuel charges $199 per month for 7-figure owners and $299 for 8-figure owners, and it requires Amazon-only sellers to have at least $2.5M in annual revenue (FAQ read 2026-09-29). Below that level, the free communities in this guide cover most operational questions.
The bottom line
Use Seller Forums for Amazon’s official position, and browse it by category and group rather than by keyword. Use the AmazonFBA Discord for speed, ASGTG for early warnings, MySilentTeam and Reddit for experience, and a paid group only once you qualify. Whatever the source, treat a number from a community thread as a lead to check, not a fact. Confirm it against Amazon’s own pages before you act on it, and keep our seller tools directory handy for the tools people recommend.
